As part of the House of CLRK internship program, every intern completes a final design presentation project during their last week. The assignment is to take a fictional couple and translate their story, style, and aesthetic preferences into a complete wedding design concept. For my project, I was assigned Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, a couple described as a balance of bold and effortless—with Kylie bringing glamour and detail, and Timothée adding a cool, understated edge. Their wedding vision was to feel like a modern summer escape: sun-drenched, softly romantic, and layered with airy textures. They dreamed of a coastal California venue with striking architecture and natural beauty, something that felt private, modern, and distinctly “them.” Their color palette drew from natural tones of warm sand, soft peach, creamy white, sun-faded terracotta, and pale olive—paired with ambient lighting, lush tonal blooms, and minimal, sculptural details. My role in this project was to take these cues and build out a full design plan that captured their elevated yet unexpected style, blending creative mockups with vendor research and planning details. The final presentation was then shared at a celebratory office brunch, where I received constructive feedback and review from the entire team.
