One of my favorite digital projects during my internship was creating design concepts in Adobe Illustrator for a client’s stage backdrop, welcome party signage, and overall reception build. The couple wanted a watercolor take on a mountain range that was meaningful to them, pulled together with their full reception color palette. I sketched and refined the concept into a digital design that not only captured their vision but could also be handed off to the teams producing the final pieces. It was a balance of creative interpretation and practical communication—making sure the artwork felt personal and beautiful for the couple while being clear enough for vendors to bring to life.

Another highlight project was designing a full invitation suite for a family member’s upcoming wedding. Through my internship, I was trusted to lead the creative direction with guidance from the team along the way. Using Adobe Illustrator and Canva, I created a cohesive suite that included a main invitation, a Weekend Festivities Card outlining the celebration details, and a Details Card with additional information for guests. Each piece was designed to complement the couple’s style and event aesthetic, while keeping readability and print production in mind. The suite is now in production and being printed, which made the project especially rewarding—seeing my digital designs turn into tangible keepsakes that will set the tone for their wedding.
